Courses in Christianity

Jesus: man, myth or Messiah?
Martin led this course at Aylesbury College (Buckinghamshire New University, Aylesbury Vale University Centre) in the spring of 2008. A fresh examination of the person, life and work of Jesus Christ, analysing his teaching and how it works out in practice.

“An inspiring course for anyone at any stage of their Christian journey.”

“I have really appreciated the work that has been put into this course. It was well thought out, with a significant amount of time spent on preparation. I enjoyed Martin’s style of presentation – particularly his honesty and frankness. Very easy to listen to – and presents the subject material in a very accessible way. Thanks very much!”

The Quest for God: knowing God
Martin led this course in the autumn of 2008. An overview of what God is like, what he has done, and how he has revealed himself to us… and working out the significance of this for our own lives. How can thinking about God help us to be fully human?

“Just to say thanks again for the course. I think it has a lot more impact on people’s lives than you realize. I have struggled through the last few years or so and with the courses I have been doing I have recieved invaluable guidance which has definitely moved me forward. I don’t think that would have happened without the input of your course. You are one of the most open and humble leaders I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I am so deeply grateful to you and appreciate all the hours of work you have put into it all. So thank you very much indeed.”

Growing more like Christ
Martin led this discipleship course in summer 2009.

“Thank you for all your hard work, patience and understanding, I can’t tell you how much it is appreciated.”

“Powerful! Extremely thought-provoking… thank you for your excellent teaching.”

“Many thanks, Martin, for all your hard work. You are a superb teacher and I have felt very privileged.”
