Effective project management for beginners

How to turn an idea into reality

The course covers:

  1. What is the scope of the project?
  2. Defining your aims
  3. Splitting a project up
  4. Managing finance and schedules
  5. Leading and communicating

So you’ve just been promoted and are suddenly overwhelmed by having to set up a project. Where do you start? How do you get it off the ground and keep everyone happy at the same time? How do you ‘juggle all the balls in the air’ at the same time? How do you keep your head when problems arise? This course is intended for those new to project management or who want to make their projects run better. This course will help you turn ideas into reality.

By the end of the course, participants will:

  • be more confident of the main stages of developing and managing a project
  • be aware of the basics of managing finance and schedules
  • communicate better with those involved in a project
